Discovering FREEDOM through my SENSUALITY

About 8 years ago I found myself to be single after a 4 year relationship. I am the type to be very loyal when I am in a relationship but something would always happen to me when I would find myself single. It’s like an animal would come out of prison that was held captive.  I would seek sanctuary through my sexual explorations, thinking I was “free.”

I began to see this a pattern for me. Go into a relationship, I would lose myself and then come out, and I was an over sexualised animal. 

I began to contemplate and feel into what was happening. 

I had not linked the very essence of my sexuality & sensuality, spirituality and success as one. I did not see that my sexual power was mine. That my pleasure was a gift straight from the Goddess and it was an honour for a man to receive this. It was healing to his own heart and soul.  It was sacred. It was my holy act. My direct connection to my freedom.

I hadn’t realised that my freedom was always within me. I was free the moment I realised this and began to sink into my own heart, yoni and womb  with a feeling of comfort. And that my freedom was felt as soon as I released myself from the limited stories that were blocking my free, erotic, sexual expression.

My sexuality was not for anyone but my own. It was the secret to healing and returning back to my womanhood and what that meant. And so I began that journey of exploring this. 

I had already been dancing Brazilian Samba by then, but there was a further explosion in my body coming to this realisation. My sensual movements became more than beautiful moves and a dance. They became explorations of my sexual, erotic, embodied self.  I began to unleash myself from the parts of me that told me I couldn’t be too wild, or too sexual, or too sensual, or too loving etc. I released my fear or making mistakes and instead I embraced my wild imperfect self in my movements. And here I embarked on a journey of discovering my voice and my place in this world, which is so holy.  

And so is yours sister.

We are the embodiment of all the expressionS of the WHOLE WOMAN

As women, we often believe we must choose between different aspects of ourselves, thinking they can’t coexist harmoniously. Yet, I believe we are meant to embody all these qualities and live fully in the present moment. This is why I always use the different archetypes of the feminine in my programs-  the beautiful loving woman, to the nurturing woman, to the wild creatrix, to the slutty lover, to the warrior Goddess woman etc. 

Success, as I perceive it, involves doing what we love, knowing our purpose and creating the most extraordinary life for ourselves with no excuses. With courage. In each moment. No holding back. Following our heart and womb’s wisdom.  And living from this space of groundedness, without feeding the ego’s false needs to be validated by the external.

It’s about loving with all your heart, living as the girl enjoying her delicious chocolate, dancing til your legs hurt, singing with the birds, laughing til your belly aches,  crying until it feels orgasmic, making love with your whole body and soul, and making love with life…all of it. 

We have been taught that sensuality is this thing you do. We have been given a prescription to sensuality- that it is focused on performance. That it is something that you do to get. a man’s attention.

But….Sensuality is not confined to specific moments; it is an ongoing state of being. It’s about feeling free and alive in the mind, body, and soul. And at the same time fully aroused, fully connected, fully present. Completely embodied in the experience in the here and now.

Sensuality is touching, living and exploring the bliss in all moments. The bliss and expansion in the moments of pain.

Consciously connecting heart and womb.

Embracing sexual energy fearlessly, recognizing it as our magical life force. And the direct way to connect with the Goddess. It is fully surrendering into the arms of our lover and Him with complete trust.

We cannot speak about sensuality without speaking about spirituality as they go hand in hand. Because sensuality creates this opening in our chennel to be sexually expressive and to connect with the divinity that we are.

Spirituality is about living with awareness and understanding that we are conscious beings. Knowing that we are the great manifestations of love. And it is our responsibility in this life time to know and be in this manifestation of that. To continue exploring the depths of this infinite potential of love, through sacred sexuality.

Here, we realize that there is only the present moment. The present moment asks us to slow down and listen and connect with our whole body. It’s a beautifully simple truth and symphony that holds immense power. And as you can see, all intertwines with each.
