Explore the transformative journey of feminine awakening and how it led me from a numb existence to a state of pure ecstasy. Learn the key steps and unlock your own inner power.
I used to live in a numb state, unaware of the ecstatic potential that lay dormant within me. It wasn’t until I began exploring Samba dancing that I felt a spark that awakened my body and soul. This journey led me to a profound realization: many of us live in a state of numbness, disconnected from our true essence and potential. I became passionate about understanding why we shut down and how we can reclaim our ecstatic selves.
Through my personal transformation, I developed a love for working with women, helping them reconnect with their sexual energy. This energy is vibrant, juicy, and innocent. I guide women in cultivating a deeper relationship with their wombs, utilizing the heart and womb space to manifest their deepest desires. It’s about walking a path that resonates with their true power—a path I, too, have walked.
The Programming Around Feminine Power
There is an immense amount of programming around feminine power that disconnects us from our life force and sexual energy. This programming often starts at a young age, suppressing our natural erotic innocence. When I look back, I can connect with the 3-year-old version of myself—a time when I felt this ecstatic energy. Society often associates the word “erotic” with something dirty or sexualized, but in my childhood, it wasn’t about sex. It was a state of being completely turned on by life—feeling vibrant, open, and engaged.
As a child, I felt the pleasure of simply existing. This sensation was like a warm, orange glow that radiated through my body, deeply connecting me to the Earth and my mother. This aliveness was pure innocence. Yet, from a young age, I learned that this connection wasn’t “okay.” I was taught to be a “good girl,” to fit into societal norms. As a result, shame took root in me. My sexual energy, once a vibrant flame, became distorted as I moved into my teenage years. Seeking validation, I confused attention with attraction, becoming hypersexualized while simultaneously shutting down my true essence.
The Role of Shame in Numbing Ourselves
Shame is a significant barrier in feminine embodiment. It’s a force that numbs us, disconnects us, and prevents us from experiencing full pleasure. The question is, how do we move beyond shame? The answer begins with our bodies.
Most women hold some form of shame towards their bodies. The first step in unraveling this shame is noticing it, which can be deeply confronting. When I was dancing Samba, I had a mentor who pushed me out of my comfort zone. She saw my potential and knew I wasn’t giving my all. Every time I faced the mirror, I felt tense and uncomfortable. Through this process, I realized how much shame I was carrying, especially around my yoni (vulva). That’s when I began to understand the power of mirror work.
With my clients, I often use mirror work as a tool for exploring subconscious beliefs rooted in shame. It involves standing in front of a mirror, looking at yourself, and eventually looking at your yoni. This practice can be incredibly triggering but also deeply transformative. Shame loses its grip when we face it without judgment.
Embracing the Willingness to Feel
Each woman’s journey with this work is unique. For some, simply looking at themselves in the mirror can be overwhelming. The first step is not about trying to change your thinking. It’s about the willingness to hear and feel whatever arises. Being present with yourself, with all your thoughts and emotions, is a powerful alchemical process.
The more you accept what is, the more you alchemize the shame. By allowing yourself to be present, without judgment, you create space for transformation. I often guide women in opening their legs, connecting with their yoni, and having a conversation they might never have had before. It’s an intimate process that often triggers resistance because it requires facing parts of ourselves we’ve abandoned.
Connecting with the Womb: A Sacred Portal
In this work of ecstatic aliveness, it is crucial to connect with the womb. The womb is not just an organ for creating human life; it is the center of a woman’s creative power and a profound representation of the feminine. In many cultures, the womb is seen as a portal through which we are both born and return. It represents the cyclical nature of death and rebirth, a core aspect of the feminine.
Western society often neglects the importance of the womb. We talk about menstrual cycles in a negative light, complaining about the discomfort instead of honoring the process. Ancient cultures, however, revered the womb as a portal of life and a symbol of immense power. It’s a direct channel between the heart and the cosmic womb—a connection that vibrates with ecstasy.
When we align our heart’s desires with the power of the womb, we tap into a magnetic force. The heart’s desires are not based on ego but on love and service. When these desires align with the womb’s energy, we experience synchronicities, opportunities, and manifestations that flow naturally into our lives.
Building the Womb-Heart Connection
A simple yet profound practice to start building this relationship with your womb is to place your left hand on your womb and yoni, while your right hand rests on your heart. Begin by taking a deep breath, sending love from your heart down to your womb. With each inhale, draw in Shakti, the creative life force energy, to your heart, and on the exhale, send it back to your womb. This flow connects you with the magnetic power of the womb, allowing you to anchor into love beyond ego, shame, and stories.
Healing Sexual Energy and Reconnecting with Mother Gaia
Our disconnection from the womb mirrors humanity’s disconnection from Mother Gaia. The feminine is the embodiment of the mother, the planet that nurtures and provides for us. As we heal our sexual energy and reconnect with our wombs, we also reconnect with the Earth and its abundance. This connection allows us to move in harmony with nature’s cycles and our own inner cycles, creating a flow of wealth and resources.
We must learn to trust these cycles, even when they seem illogical. We have to pause, dance in the unknown, and allow the fruits of our desires to come to fruition. By aligning with nature and our own cyclical selves, we embrace the totality of our inner nature.
Connecting with the Great Mother
To connect with the Great Mother—the higher consciousness of love—we must spend time in nature. Being fully present in nature allows us to tap into the wisdom of the Earth. During emotional times, go to the forest, to the trees that represent the strength and nurturing qualities of the mother. Another way to connect is through deities and goddesses like Mary Magdalene, embodiments of the divine feminine and Shakti energy.
Shakti Activation: The Power of Presence
Shakti is the life force that flows through us when we are fully present. It cannot be controlled or forced; it happens through the transmission of wisdom, movement, and breath. When we breathe into Shakti, she moves through us, showing where we hold tension and inviting us to open our chakras. This energy is not logical but a deep, intuitive knowing—a force of life that works across different dimensions.
The Journey to Ecstatic Aliveness
The journey from numbness to ecstatic aliveness is a process of coming home to ourselves. It involves embracing our innocence, breaking down the barriers of shame, and cultivating a loving relationship with our bodies, our wombs, and Mother Gaia. Each of us has the power to activate Shakti within and to align with the ecstatic flow of life. By doing this work, we not only reclaim our feminine power but also pave the way for a more connected and abundant world.
